Information we collect and how we use it
We collect and use your personal information for the following reasons only:
If you register to join www.bluehawks.ie we will store your basic information as supplied by you during the registration process.
If you supply other personal details to other members while on logged into this private group, Bluehawks do not record or store this information and this information is supplied by you to the other party at your own discretion. Eg. If using the “buy and sell area” feature and wish to exchange further details with another member who is supplying a product or service to you, this is done at your own free will and all transactions are not the responsibility of Bluehawks.
Data storage and retention
We will retain your personal information as needed to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected. We will retain and use your personal information no longer than is necessary to comply with our business and legal obligations.
What Information Do We Collect and How Do We Collect It?
At various times, you could be asked to provide information such as your name, email address, contact phone number or other information. Information collected is often defined as being either anonymous or personally identifiable:
“Anonymous Information” refers to information that cannot be tied back to identify a specific individual.
“Personally Identifiable Information” refers to information that tells us specifically who you are, such as your name, email address, or phone number. Using the Services may allow us to “recognize” you to allow us to personalize the Services for you.
As is true of most apps and web sites, we gather certain information (such as mobile provider, operating system, etc.) automatically and store it in log files. We use this information, which does not identify individual users, to analyze trends, to administer the Services, to track users movements around the Services and to gather demographic information about our user base as a whole. We may link some of this automatically-collected data to certain Personally Identifiable Information.
Personally Identifiable Information
When you register with us via our Services, we may ask you for some Personally Identifiable Information, such as your first and last name, email address, unique Number, Station and other basic information. If you select a service that may require a financial arrangement, we will require you to provide certain billing information, such as credit card, bank account or PayPal information. If you utilise our Buy and Sell area to publish an ad, we may require you to provide information additional information about your product or service however we are not responsible for any financial transactions in this area.
You may review and update this Personally Identifiable Information in your profile by logging in and editing such information in your dashboard.
No Personally Identifiable Information will ever be provided to intermediaries or any other Third Party Service Providers.
Storage and Security of Individual Information
Bluehawks leases secure data networks protected by industry standard firewall and password protection systems. Our security and privacy policies are periodically reviewed and enhanced as necessary, and only authorised individuals have access to the information. Notwithstanding such measures, we cannot guarantee that our security measures will prevent our computers from being illegally accessed, and the individual information on them stolen or altered.
Your account is protected by a password for your privacy and security. You must prevent unauthorised access to your account and individual information by selecting and protecting your password appropriately and limiting access to your computer or device and browser by signing off after you have finished accessing your account.

Information About the Technology
Some of the Services may employ cookies to collect non-Personally Identifiable Information in the course of providing clients with ad-serving services, for the purpose of helping clients determine which advertisement is suitable to be delivered to a user, or to maintain a user’s state (keeping them logged in, etc.). A cookie is a small text file that can be stored on a user’s computer when that computer’s browser views an advertisement or website of one of our clients. The cookie is associated with and unique to the specific computer. The cookie does not contain the user’s name, address, phone number, email address, or anything that personally identifies it. We collect into the cookie only non-Personally Identifiable Information such as the type of the computer’s operating system, type of internet browser software, what web pages were viewed and at what time, and geographic location of user’s internet service provider.

Social networking sites
Our website and mobile applications use interfaces with the social media site Facebook. This site is not vetted. All members to this Facebook page have been recommended by members only. www.bluehawks.ie cannot vet this facebook page and for this reason this forum will only be used to inform members of basic matter relating to this site.
Your data rights
You have several rights under data-protection law in relation to how we use your personal information. You have the right, free of charge, to:
Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you in a structured, commonly used and machine readable format;
Rectify any inaccurate personal information we hold about you;
Withdraw your consent where we have relied upon your consent to process your information;
Erase the personal information we hold about you subject to certain exceptions;
Restrict processing of your personal information in certain circumstances;
Lodge a complaint with the appropriate data-protection authority if you have concerns about how we process your personal data;

We will endeavour to respond to your request within a month. If we are unable to deal with your request within a month we may extend this period by a further two months and we will contact you and explain why.
